NuGrow has launched its latest service – on-site soil screening – in a major win for civil infrastructure contractors, property developers and landscapers facing large volumes of otherwise unusable site soil.
Complementing NuGrow’s expanding revegetation business, on-site soil screening makes the most of existing site resources while offering savings on disposal and imported topsoil costs.
NuGrow’s Manager of Revegetation Services, Ben Brown, said the revegetation team was commonly working on sites that had faced unnecessarily high costs for off-site screening or importing specified soil – a client challenge that drove the creation of NuGrow’s new offer.
“Site-won soil often has huge value for projects that can be unlocked with a straightforward, tailored and professional screening service – and with a cost saving,” Ben said.
“We simply took a process that’s been a longstanding part of NuGrow, and made it mobile,” he said.
“Now, through one provider, clients gain a complete on-site soil screening service with the added optional benefit of being able to move straight into any one of our revegetation services.”
Once clients’ performance expectations are confirmed, NuGrow’s team manages everything from rigorous testing to tailored amelioration to ultimate screening, with the ability to transform soil to conform with MRTS16, R178, AS4419 or other specifications.
The process improves site soil to required standards for reuse on site or for sale, and includes the removal of unwanted overs to leave only a stockpile of compliant soil.
In addition to civil, property and landscaping projects, soil manufacturers and sand suppliers also win from NuGrow’s new offer as a ready solution that supports overflow requirements.
Merging the best of NuGrow’s soil manufacturing and project management capabilities, the new on-site soil screening service provides the confidence of quality with time and cost efficiency. It is available throughout South East Queensland, Central Queensland and New South Wales.
