The Department of Environment, Science and Innovation has informed NuGrow that some samples collected from our Rockhampton Facility have returned positive results for asbestos.
NuGrow is awaiting formal advice from the regulators regarding further details of the findings. The regulator has confirmed the samples which tested positive were not from our finished compost materials.
The safety of NuGrow’s staff, clients and the broader community remain our utmost priority, and we continue to work closely with regulators in response to this news.
